December 5, 2020 - Extremely smooth, complex and rich wine which seduced from opening the bottle. For a Cru Bourgeois of this average year a very surprisingly good showing

February 12, 2013 - Deeply coloured, light-hearted fruit-driven Cru bourgeois, drinking well now and at least half a decade more.

October 8, 2011 - Double decanted and chilled to 65 degrees. Best 2002 d"Agassac I have tried to date. Medium purple color with just a hint of browning on the edge. Casis and blackberries in the nose and initial flavors with soft round tanins in the mid-range and moderate length in the flavors.Good acidity. Not an excellent wine but becoming a good one. Should last another 3-5 years.

September 12, 2011 - Weekly tasting group #004; Red Bordeaux Varietals (@ VD): 50% Merlot, 47% CS, 3% CF. Dark blood red. Beautiful and elegant bouquet with a pleasant dose of oak. On the palate cassis, plums and cherries. Good acidity and tannin. Although medium bodied at best, this is an elegant and complete wine. Ready now and the next 2 - 4 years.
