July 22, 2013 - Lighter golden color. Nose: golden apple, pineapple, green fig, and lemon curd with accents of vanilla buttercream, toasted hazelnut, dried maple leaf, and lime peel. Medium/full body on the palate: golden apple, lemon curd, papaya, and green fig framed by toasted hazelnut, vanilla buttercream, citrus zest, and white pepper. Medium/low acidity. Lingering vanilla buttercream, toasted hazelnut, apple skin, and white pepper on the moderate/long finish. Rich, decadent, and tasty, but lacking backbone and focus. Probably a bit past its prime. Drink now.

June 8, 2013 - Not much of a white wine person, but I liked this bottle. Not very oakey, nicely dry, quite good with broiled halibut and roasted asparagus. Fairly long finish, looking forward to drinking my last bottle.

March 20, 2012 - A little disappointed in this. Medium body with weight, but very little acidity. Not enough fruit to balance this out.

June 1, 2011 - Decent wine. Pale yellow color, still a touch green. The nose is reminiscent of the candy necklaces from when I was growing up. Pear was most dominant in the nose. Also notes of creme brulee and melon. The alcohol was present for the first hour after opening. Medium body in the glass. This wine had a creamy texture that was present during the first 1.5 hours then felt more acidic. Light to moderate oak. The oak is balanced with some of the other flavors. This wine lacks in the mid-palate and the finish is short. Don't run out to buy, but don't be afraid to give it a shot if you are tired of the over-oaked California chards.
