  March 31, 2015 - Sour blackberries, milk chocolate, meaty with some blood and iron notes, very fruity, soft tannins and silky texture, very fresh with vibrating but ripe acidity, the oak is very well-absorbed. A well-balanced modern and fruit-forward wine, just lacks a bit of structure and length to me, but nevertheless an excellent wine for a reasonable price (17 Euros). Ready for drinking. - 89 points

  February 3, 2013 - Tiefdunkles Rubingranat mit violetten Reflexen in der Nase frische Weichseln und Zwetschgen, dazu Feigentöne, Schokoladenoten, Gewürzanklänge am Gaumen sehr saftig, tolle Weichsel-Aromatik, Lakritze und Spitzwegerich, Kandis und eine berauschende Süsse im Abgang feinste Bitterschokolade- / Tanninharmonie, satte Weichseln und ein Hauch Zitrusfrucht kandiert.

  June 30, 2012 - A significant step up from Beaujolais we had been drinking.
  Elegant looking in the glass, slight brown on the edges.
  I picked up dried dark fruit on the nose.
  Taste was long and enjoyable.
  Conclusion whilst we really enjoyed the wine, in terms of value £25 was a bit steep, maybe a £15-£20 wine
