Community Tasting Notes 2

December 7, 2013 - The wine looks ruby in color. It has a blackberry aroma and taste. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has a smooth texture. The wine finishes Medium. Overall a great tasting wine. Would be perfect with a great pasta dish.

August 16, 2008 - Aroma: Eucalyptus, slightly medicinal with all the alcohol, black pepper, clove, raspberry...strange but appealing nose with some heat on the end

Flavor: Very hot in terms of alcohol at first, needed an hour or more of decanting, settled into a cranberry, mint, cocoa, and black fig palate...sweet in terms of the fig taste

General impression: A very dynamic, chameleon-like wine in terms of flavor, all over the place for the first hour after opening; settled into something tasty and more smooth after more than an hour; a little odd but interesting
