November 9, 2018 - 1998 Red Burgs at 20 years old.: Great showing. Deceptive in its light color and body - the wine is quite pungent and deep. Bright sweet red berries on the nose, which also shows layers of musky and mineral complexity. Shows true grand cru stature on the palate - it’s pungent and detailed and dense, and has real flavor impact. And all of this in this light to middleweight frame. Well composed and just excellent wine.
