April 5, 2024 - RSV/Richebourg dinner - a contrary to the '14 Hudelot RSV, this was ready for business! Violets, spice & tea dominated the bouquet. More tea on the palate. Nice finish!

September 24, 2023 - Slow ox 4 hours (cork, fill level in pristine condition)
Color : bright ruby garnet.
Nose : Potpourri of florals, rose petal, peony, red berries, darker fruits, amazingly lifted & complex.
On the palate: elegant, velvety texture with purity. Forest, earth, red fruits, abundant rose petals, violet, with touch of vanilla pods & lots of sweet spices. Very classy. In drinking window but still life ahead. -

September 4, 2023 - Unfortunately this bottle had some oxidisation effects, judging by the colour and initial taste. However after a few minutes, you could still feel the depth of the fruit come through.
Quite a spicy palate with a soft lovely black tea like finish. Acidity felt a bit subdued but just right when the fruits started coming. Lovely rose water threaded through. Tannins are still present and feel very fine, with a long elegant finish even through the sweet mildly oxidised fruit. I think if this bottle was in form it would have been such a stunner wine, but an amazing experience nonetheless. -

May 12, 2019 - Excellent bottle, lots of red and purple berries on the nose, mineral, spices, and modest creaminess, silky structure with good layers, modest earthiness and forest floor on the palate and nice gentle yet firm acidity and still vibrant fruits.
