August 22, 2021 - Blunt, big and alcoholic (15% that feel). Not my style at all. More time will probably neither harm nor help it.

March 7, 2016 - Everything in place here, beautifully so. Paul Hobbs has conquered the South Americas for sure with this. Could have used a decant, maybe an hour, but P&P was lovely. Big, but not overpowering (served with pork chops), all the cab elements in place; cassis; berries; ripe enough, not overly oaked, but certainly a wood presence. Just delicious.

January 3, 2016 - Thought this may be a flawed bottle, as the initial barnyard nose was quite intense, almost rancid. This partially blew off quickly, but never really dissipated. The palate was full-bodied, with rich and mature dark fruit - actually fantastic. Lingering nose prevents a higher score.

June 3, 2015 - Appearance: Bright and clear, it has deep ruby color, with fading rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of black fruit such as blackcurrant, bilberry, and dark cherries, oak notes of vanilla, pungent spice of licorice, kernel notes of mocha, herbal notes of Chinese medicine, maturity notes of wet leaves. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium (+) tannin of ripe and velvety texture, with medium (+) alcohol and full body. It has medium (+) intensity flavors of black fruit such as blackcurrant, blackberry and bilberry, oak notes of vanilla, dried fruit of prune, kernel notes of nutty. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Argentina Cabernet Sauvignon with a good concentrated nose of complex characters, the wine exhibits a balanced structure, with all elements harmonizing together, providing an intense palate of reasonable complexity and finish. It is ready to drink now, though it can be stored for anoteher 5-7 years.
