  Tasted non blind at a wine dinner.
  
  Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of blueberries, cocoa powder and plums. Flavors of plums, berries and cocoa. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the next couple of years.

  May 10, 2013 - Nice raspberry pie nose. Soft, slightly watery palate with mild raspberry/spice flavors. Unobjectionable and a nice quaffer, but under-delivers for the price. Missing acidity and the dusty tannins I usually find in tempranillo.
  
  [edit: Bumped the score up a few points b/c this fleshed out a bit on day two - better structure and length on the palate. still would have preferred a bit more freshness and less oak.]

  April 14, 2012 - Friends and I tasted this at the winery on 4/14/12. It had a smoky, ripe and elegant bouquet of floral, plum, burnt toast and spice aromas. The palate was smooth, supple and round with flavors that followed the nose. 90+
