November 27, 2023 - Piemonte: Truffles instead of Turkey; 11/23/2023-12/2/2023 (Barolo, Barbaresco, Alto Piemonte and of course Alba): Another one of my favorites in the group. This had a bit of the ferrous style to it. A bit more iron. Darker red fruits. Lots of tannins. A wine with structure built for the long haul.

February 23, 2023 - Jeroboams Barolo 2019 tasting: Great counterpoint to the Brunate, this one flying the flag for Serralunga. Red apple and pomegranate, spice and an overall impression of power and saturation. It's not a brute but it needs some serious time!
