May 28, 2023 - 1st out of 6 recently acquired from auction. This one had slightly lower fill than the other bottles. Color was more advanced than expected with slight bricking. The wine felt surprisingly restrained and closed with mostly red fruit. The structure of the wine seemed intact and was pleasantly refreshing. Based on other tasting notes of this wine, couple other bottlings of newer vintages from Bouland and slightly tired fruit I write this off as flawed bottle. Did not decant the wine which could have helped as well.

November 21, 2022 - This wine opens with a deep dark cherry colour and a forward nose of dark cherries, blackberries, spring flowers and touches of red citrus. The palate is round and rich yet nicely balanced with fine tannins and a lick of finishing minerality. There is plenty of life and vigour in this wine !

June 27, 2021 - This is lovely, and the fruit is on the darker side of the spectrum. Scents of blackberries, blueberries, tomato leaf, and earth. The palate is medium bodied, with a sense of warmth on the palate that reminds me of a sun-ripened plum, fruity, juicy, & warm. It's making me wonder if 2019 is in some ways going to be similar to 2009.
