July 2, 2014 - Nose: strawberries, raspberries and smoke
Taste: light-medium bodied, good acidity, smoked plums are dominant, raspberries, unusual and quite interesting

April 26, 2013 - Light and non complex. Earthy grass like flavor went well with potato pancakes, Brie and lox. Spawned good conversation.

August 27, 2012 - In our constant quest to find good Pinot, we try them all. We are always sceptical of Pinot grown in non traditional regions, and are truly appreciative when we find ones that work. By no means concentrated and layered, this is still complete and competent. We get some of those typically Chilean wet tree bark, earthy, charcoal flavors, actually enhancing the typical clove and wet earth flavors. The color is very dark by Pinot standards. The nose is on the edge of smelling too much like an industrial cleaner. As it crosses the palate we get a less than medium bodied, plum and blackberry leading a little bit of bitter tannins. When you swish a good mouth full around, you don't get excited, but I've had lots worse Pinot. Not much oak. Could use a little more acid. Some bitterness on the finish, but this is quite young.
