May 4, 2024 - Slightly reticent nose opens up to reveal an explosive flavour profile: violet, blackberry, plum, tar, earth, tobacco, vanilla, baking spice, nutmeg, anise. Good balance and lengthy finish; tannins fully integrated. Could age further but in a lovely place right now. Drink and enjoy.

March 15, 2024 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), blackberry, prune, flint, forest floor, lead pencil, cedar, black pepper, bell pepper, eucalyptus and stems. It tastes like black currant (cassis), red currant, fig, mineral, phenolic, vanilla, tea, bell pepper, stems, green olive, soy sauce, cool/menthol and acetic acid. The body is medium/full. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

February 18, 2024 - Dark berries, sweet licorice and sweet herbs and spices. On the palate juicy dark berries, good acidity, round tannin and a pleasant touch of sweetness. Ready now and the next ? years.
