February 4, 2024 - During a GER/AUT blind tasting. Like the Pichler Undendlich, this was richer than the German GG's. Complex nose, lots of herbs, apricots. Generous palate. More balanced than the Pichler but my favorites were still the GG's.

    February 3, 2024 - - Tasted blind
    - Ripe nose, some popcorn, herbs, complex but difficult to grasp.
    - A style I don't drink very often, a bit heavy/generous. Ripe fruit like apricot and quince on the palate. The acidity is medium and holds everything together.

November 15, 2023 - Tremendous - smoke, salt, exotic florality, and some botrytised spice and honey around a core of ripe citrus and lightly tropical fruit flavours, conveyed with impressive power and finesse. Glad I have another of this, but I may not hold much longer as this is so good right now.

September 13, 2023 - Light yellow. Flowers, herbs, secondary perfume, and a touch of tropical fruit. Light on its feet for Smaragd with an underpinning of light stone. Apple and underripe pineapple, excellent acidity, dry but glycerine, and great length. This is regal and still youthful. It reminded me of drinking Clos Ste. Hune. We enjoyed every sip.
