February 19, 2019 - Glenglassaugh - Vintage & Rebirth (Oak Barrel, Elizabeth Street, Sydney): "very woody at first on the nose; lots of cedar, more salinity; the honey and heather more muted here, pineapple. Similar palate but without the bitter vanilla finish.
With water a certain bees wax and herbaceousness joins and the cedar softens and grows more creamy. This creaminess translates to the palate as well. Okay.
