November 19, 2015 - Classic Cali bold chard. Dark gold color. Big nose of vanilla, oak, and lush oak. Palate was thick with gobs of toasted oak, vanilla and ice cream. Very tasty but difficult to drink with food.

March 15, 2015 - Color of very ripe pineapple. When popped and poured while too cold the oak was excessive, but this did come together much better after warming. Nice flavors of pear, pineapple, apple and tangerine. Good depth. Nice finish.

California vs. French Chardonnay Tasting, Episode #932, 10/14/2010 (link) 88 points(Kistler Les Noisetier Chardonnay) #2; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-heavy buttered popcorn; a little tropical papaya on the back-end; PALATE-big wine; solid acidity on the finish; really nice guava flavors throughout, but this is dominated by the oak and butter; many like this style and this is very well made for the style in which it is made; just not my style; GV-88
