  April 7, 2011 - Thought this might be too old, and it does seem to be nearing the end of its useful life, but it still has some time left. A grassy nose, not much fruit, but a nice mineral element. Much more like a white Graves than a New Zealand Cabernet Blanc. This is the style I prefer. Could have had a bit more crispness and it didn't seem to open up much, but it was an adequate companion to a meal of pork tenderloin. Very dry, definitely a food wine. Would drink up if I had any in my cellar.

  October 2, 2007 - This was a surprisingly good spanish SB. It had very typical cool-climate SB aromas resembling a cool-vintage Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé more than a new world version. There was no tropical fruit, but lots of gooseberry, grass, flowers and some asparragus. On the palate it was crisp and acidic, and with good length. Refreshing and a really good value.
