June 27, 2018 - Moulin Touchais: A retrospective tasing conducted by Frederik Wilbrenninck and Richard Kelley MW; 6/26/2018-6/27/2018 (The Institute of Masters of Wine, London SW11): A very good vintage. There's a tannic quality to the wine.

Gentle and demure, some VA too. High acids. Pear and lime. Very intense, powerful juice. A touch of mouse on the end though.

    May 26, 2016 - Unfortunatly corked.
On the nose: Cellar, sherry and vinegar
On the palate: Bitter-sweet. Better than the nose feeling.

April 28, 2016 - Nose shows 100% old Chenin Blanc, deep nose, Christmas spices, nuts, Sherry, dry grass, syrup, sweet honey.
Palate tastes like granny’s old Christmas fruitcake, Seville orange, cinnamon and the rest of the Christmas bakery, sweet syrup, dried fruits.
very complex, with acidity to keep it alive and kicking.
Not overly sweet, but rather dry.
    Deep, long and interesting.
    Good?
Well, that’s all a matter of personal taste, as all wines are, but perhaps especially when it comes to this type of old stuff.
    I like it.
