Community Tasting Notes 3

June 28, 2011 - Leafy, firm, young and a bit herbal. Probably in line with where it should be. A good each way bet; enough straightforward fruit to drink now but some seriousness in the structure to warrant a revisit in 3 to 5 years.

June 21, 2010 - Purplish-red and clear in the glass; serious, but uncomplicated fruit upfront in the nose and you can smell the alcohol, with some currents and sour cherry notes too. Mild tannins in the mouth with more sour cherry, also, hints of nut and clove. Ursula tasted mocha, which Platter's said too. Simple, quaffable, nothing special.
