May 17, 2014 - This one needs further cellaring to bloom and it surely has the structure for that with its high acidity and tough tannins. Some development on the palate but indeed a little closed with only hints of raspberries, roses, violets, brown sugar and fudge. The nose is more generous with dark berries, tar, paint, perfume, cocos and liquorice.

September 13, 2012 - It´s a bit unfair to judge this wine now, it´s way to young. 5 more years and it will be great. It Tastes like a young oldschool Barolo but much cheaper. Great food wine.

If you have a winecellar and find a bottle for 22 Euro or similar buy it. Barolos of this quality usually cost twice as much

September 1, 2012 - Fantastic nose with very mature notes of leather, game, ripe red berrie fruit and tobacco. Taste is dry with great acidity and fantastic, almost aggressive tannins that crave food. Awesome wine, almost old fashioned, quite the opposite to modern fruitbombs.

February 18, 2012 - Completely lovely, the nose is complex with all the right nebbiolo components. The taste is a little more demanding, tannins enter in the middle and lasts to the end. The expression has a beginning maturity, leather, scents from the forest. The fruit is round and almost sweet, the acid is perfectly balanced and the aftertaste is loong.

All though I haven't so much experience with Barolo and Barbaresco I find it has it's similaritys but still it's own expression. I really love this wine.
