August 10, 2010 - An excellent Rioja with still very good acidity.
The nose showed some interesting cocoa that I haven't noticed before in a Rioja. There were also some dill, leather, vanilla and cherries but not any sweeter strawberries that I like.
The taste had a good grip, medium depth, weak tannines and quite short finish.
An old and charmy wine that still goes strong. Good value. 87-88 p.
