March 5, 2022 - Finished my last bottle. Still going strong I would say.

Still very deep colour, just fading round the edges.
N: pronounced, blackberry, bramble, graphite, some herbal lift, liquorice, tobacco, grilled beef. Complex.
P: Full bodied, the high alcohol is balanced very well with the pronounced flavour intensity. Fresh acidity. Palate flavours show far more of that herbal, menthol character. High, fine tannins and grainy texture show development, as does the meat, savoury, earthy character. Finish is Medium (+), with a dry palate. Very good to outstanding quality. Complex, has shown capacity to improve with age. Not sure there's quite enough fruit to get better, but I'm sure it will hold.

February 25, 2018 - powerful, silky, with decent perfume and finish. I still think the other single vineyard Malbecs of Trapiche offer more, but this is certainly tasty.

January 26, 2018 - nicely balanced, well-integrated, medium-length finish. An Argentine Malbec that is nicely restrained with a silky mouthfeel

January 1, 2018 - Lovely stuff. A real crowd pleaser on NY's eve.
