October 18, 2023 - TWS Rioja tasting (Chelsea Old Town Hall): Tightly coiled and dense nose even at 13 years old. Focused but plush with notes of cherry, violets, plum, earth and tar. Powerful and rich palate, far too big and monolithic right now. Give it a decade at least.

April 24, 2022 - Great traditional Rioja. Musty, leathery, funky, stinkpile. And from these ashes, with air, some very handsome fruit peaks through. Rather balanced now, and better than i remember from 2019 tasting. Drink or hold, could go through 2030 maybe. Not a steal at 30€.

December 12, 2021 - Well down to the lat two, the previous notes cover this, there really is no point in keeping this any longer, as before decent but nothing that would make you cross the road to buy more, the last bottle I shall drink shortly doesn't deserve a rating after this one, to be honest very disappointed in this wine.
Not worth a separate note for the last bottle, it was no different from the others, just very ordinare, good year GR should be better.

March 19, 2021 - Second bottle a year? on, no real change from the notes previous, I think we can say this is a decent wine for a GR , but nothing special, for the price enjoyable mid week or anytime drinking, VFM but would I buy again on the back of this tasting, probably not, so much else out there better these days.

February 5, 2020 - As others have said still a bit one dimensional, spicy dark fruit is there but a bit flat, promises more but will it deliver ? as always with these types of wine it is almost impossible to give a number of years in which the wine will come round if ever, no layers here yet but will give the other bottles some more time and try again.
Purchased in Haro at a very good price so can be classed as a mid week wine.
