July 13, 2017 - Mid gold showing developed aromas of paw-paw, honey, resin, hay, quince paste and guava. As the wine opens, they are wet stone and minerals.
Medium-bodied with a broad mid-palate, the wine is fairly developed and tastes a little heavy. However, rooibos, honey, and a lively acid underneath make it work to an extent. But as wine evolved in glass it started to falter.
