June 25, 2012 - Still quite good. Aroma of berries. Light but still present tannins. Flavor of fruit, very light oak, nice balance. Opened up after a few minutes in the glass.

December 4, 2010 - lively red color, pleasant fruity aroma, young & fruity in taste, a light & perfect match for Channukka dinner with many quiche pastries and veggie salads.

October 23, 2010 - Houston Cellar Classic 2010 (The Tasting Room - Uptown Park): This really didn't show very well today. Much riper fruit than I remember, with less of those meaty, herbal characteristics that appealed to me the first time I tried this. Sweet fig and blackberry, caramel, and faint herbs.

July 24, 2010 - Bordeaux blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot, and Cab Franc. Intriguing, complex nose of red fruit, soy sauce, leather, and herbs. Rich, medium-full bodied palate with black cherry, blackberry, and toasted herbs. Medium tannins. Pleasantly surprised by this -- couldn't keep my nose out of the glass. Paired nicely with lamb.
