Thursday, August 24, 2023 - Also known as Lemburger, Blaufränkisch is a rare grape to see in the US. This rendition could easily be mistaken for an Austrian Blaufränkisch from a quality producer like Moric. It is high-toned, red-fruited, medium-bodied and best served slightly chilled (65-70 F). Jim Lester has done a fabulous job with this grape.
