Sunday, April 25, 2010 - [Restaurant purchase] Decanted for 45 mins. Deep ruby red. Big, bold brooding nose of dark cherries, smoke, wood. Mouth-filling palette, earthy-woodsy fruit, assertive but fine tannins, lingering finish with just enough acidic freshness. A great match with beef tenderloin in Madeira jus.
