Garnet color, uniform to the rim, no sign of bricking. Cigar box, leather, black cherry, anise on the nose. Black cherries, dark red plums, great lift and balance. Flavors of leather and cedar were so well integrated into the dark fruits without any hint of mustiness or staleness. Very vibrant wine with lots of life left.
