Tuesday, June 18, 2013 - Needed about two hours of decanting in order to bring down the heat. Color is very deep, and the overall profile is well balanced. Not overly fruity and hints of dark fruits and tobacco. Given the high alcohol content, very surprising the balance that was achieved. Definitely a great value, but will need a year or two to settle out the tannins.
