Thursday, June 20, 2013 - Big scores: WS 95, WA 96-99
93% Syrah, 5% Grenache, and 2% Viognier with 15.5% ABV
Really enjoyed this wine but the price on the secondary market is ridiculously high - $240 to $300.
I drank it alongside a 2006 Saxum "32" James Berry Vineyard (WA 97, 16.2% ABV). The Saxum was much the best. Is SQN riding the hype train?
For the SQN, tannins were silky smooth, so this is ready to drink.
