Sunday, June 30, 2013 - Cork crumbled, so strained through Vinturi and tasted. Dark purple, no bricking. A little funk on the nose, which blows off. Dark chocolate covered cherries on the nose, but quite refined, subtle and complex. Very smooth on the palate. A slight but pleasing sweetness, longish, pleasing finish.

This is a very fine wine, and though I'm sure it will hold I doubt it will improve. I'll drink my final bottle within a year.
