Friday, March 28, 2014 - Blackberries, licorice root tea, spice, wood vanilla, mint, forest floor, cola, cherry liquor, salt sea winds. This wine is packed, but also a little bit on the forward side, there's some heat on the finish. Not sure the seams will hold for the really long haul, but for now it's an opulent and still fairly structured new world pinot that goes down very easily and that is highly enjoyable.
