Thursday, July 24, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour and presence of dense slow-falling legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium+ intensity aromas of ripe plums, dark cherries, walnuts, chocolate and hints of neutral blue flowers. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. It has high coarse tannins and a high warm alcohol. It has a full body and medium+ intensity flavours of cherries, walnuts, chocolate and hints of neutral blue flowers. The finish is medium.

It is a very good quality wine with a nice flavour concentration, a good balance between alcohol and tannins and a decent enough finish. However it could be more complex. Can drink now, but it has enough tannic and acidic structure, and enough fruit concentration, to develop a bit more of complexity in the next 5-8 years.
