This may have not scored the points of some other vintages, but it's a beautiful, aristocratic d'Yquem. Fleshy apricots, orange blossom, hazelnut, lychee, smoke, oak, caramel. Sweet but not cloying. Could use a touch more acidity but that's just splitting hairs. Long, beautiful finish. This is just edging into maturity from half bottle.
