Tuesday, June 19, 2018 - A big, peachy, parchment, white flower, mineral, faintly bergamot nose. More fresh than sweet though by no means lacking in botrytitis. For those who equate great d'Yquem with heavy botrytis, this will disappoint. For those who appreciate the elegant, fresh side of d'Yquem, this will please. Though it's a nice time to catch this in the flushes of its youth, it should continue to improve for several years. I'd try the next in 2021 - 2022 or so. 94-95.
