Saturday, April 4, 2009 - The slight sweetness (but not in a sugary sense) and warmth of smoked meat. Unusually silky, smooth and delicious. Smoke, warm herbs (think oregano) and rich, ripe dark red fruits. Plenty of fruit to keep for a few more years, though not sure the tannic backbone is going to hold up too much longer. Drinking wonderfully now, and for £6, an excellent value. Great barbecue wine.
