Saturday, September 10, 2022 - Amber colored, with an orange tint; Acacia flowers/ acacia honey on the bouquet, with some volatile acidity hovering around...Overall quite a sweet impression but to me the sweetness emanates from the ripe grapes and the extract content, not so much from residual sugar..
On the palate mouth-filling and smooth with a hint of Turkish delight.
Overall I much prefer this wine/ bottle to the one tasted about four years ago when I opened the first bottle of this wine and vintage. The premox aspect has much receded into the background and I am appreciating the wine for its idiosyncrasies and "funk"
