Deep ruby, still plenty of fruit, but the alcohol is overbearing—taking a tiny sip and letting it evaporate leaves high heat on the palate. Disappointing, actually, as we have another 6-7 bottles in the cellar. Yes, my preferences have changed over time, and I drink Cabernet less than I used to do, but this was disappointing.
