Thursday, October 27, 2022 - Flint and violets on the nose along with some super ripe spice cake notes. Palate is more focied, though quite concetrated with red and blue fruit notes. Tannins are polished but quite prominent and maybe just a little too much exaction as there’s some astringency and mild bitterness on the finish. Darker and more concentrated than I recall the ‘15.
