Tuesday, November 1, 2022 - Awesome wine that takes a good 2 hours to really open up and show itself off. Trust me, pour it. Walk away. Come back right before you almost forget about it. After that slow oxidation the wine is highly expressive with classic Rioja medium body but full complex flavor. A lot going on here and it takes several sips to start to break down the dried cherries from the red currants and the plum pits. Really fun wine that I’ll seek out again for sure. A great value in fine wine.
