Saturday, November 19, 2022 - Tried this on the recommendation of a friend. Never had an Amarone before. Bought it at a store next to the Italian restaurant where the Mrs. and I were having dinner. Decided to pay the corkage fee and give it a go. Pale red color in the glass. Intense, fruit-forward with a silky finish. Very enjoyable. Perfectly complimented the tagliatelle Bolognese meal I had with it. Definitely room to grow; I'll let the next bottle sit for a couple of years before breaking it out.
