Monday, November 21, 2022 - the Petit Manseng dominated 2020 Domaine Castera Jurançon Sec, this is exactly what I craved, with a unique bouquet of dried lemon rinds, crisp opal apples, ginger and raw almond that immediately captures my attention. This travels across the palate like a bullet wrapped in crushed velvet, almost weighty, yet excited by stimulating acidity with rich orchard fruits offset by spiced citrus and minerals. There's a grippy, tactile, lip smacking sensation that lingers on and on throughout the mouthwatering finale that calls me back to the glass for more. Please pour me another!
