94 Points

Thursday, November 24, 2022 - PNP coravin with thanksgiving dinner. Nose of twigs, evergreen and eucalyptus. Clearly a Grenache dominant wine, but the Mourvèdre adds earthiness and thick tannins. Very fruit forward with a mix of red and black fruits. Almost extracted. Some minor alcohol heat, though less then I expected given the 15% ABV. This is a big, big wine that I would never guess had 12 years on it. Very enjoyable but probably needs 5–10 more years. Upgraded this by two points after the last glass. Much more balance with time in the glass. My bad - need to decant.
