Thursday, December 9, 2021 - Relatively dark for pinot. Dark cherry, wood spice, florals, and some cooling basil like notes on the nose. Mid plus weighted, sappy and rich. with more dark cherry and wood spice that is evident but not intrusive. It’s pretty rich, dark fruited and structured. some cooling green herbs on the back end. I’m usually pretty. sensitive to the green meanies and this does not show much aside from at the very end of the finish. Overall a success for the vintage. Not profound, but it's pleasurable drinking. 91
