Friday, August 24, 2012 - Big Bottle Festival (Cellars Hohenort): I was informed this is 70% Cab and 30% Pinotage but can't verify. Aromas of ripe black and red fruits with smoke, marmite and a smear of vanilla. Quite a rich texture with sweet fruit, there is a bead of vibrant acidity to balance the wine and a good length to the farewell. Attractive with decent concentration and sweet, velvety tannins, the wine is drinking nicely.
