Monday, December 26, 2022 - When I tasted the 2020 in January, it was youthfully dense and rich, but today has really come into its own. This is seductive in the glass enticing with a whiff of confectionary spice and sweet melon that gives way to lemon oil and peaches. It's round and opulent in feel, with juicy acidity to contrast as a soothing wave of ripe orchard fruits flood the palate. The 2020 finishes remarkably fresh and more potent than I recalled, leaving minerals and sweet mint to linger. I may have slightly underrated this beauty.
