Thursday, February 16, 2023 - "Deep Italian'" Wine Dinner (New Jersey): Taken to a tasting event. This is a distinct copper colored, "orange wine" with a modest amount of skin contact. Overall, nicely controlled and balanced. I got a distinct pink grapefruit flavor on the palate along with a very mineral element. Nice food wine that went well with Potato crusted Halibut with an orange sauce. However it was somewhat overshadowed a little by the Quintarelli Secco Ca' del Merlo.
