Monday, May 4, 2009 - Served at 50 degrees.
Color: Nice, pale 15% gold, clear.
Nose: Weak nose. Notes of Apple and Pear and a hint of citrus and cold metal (minerally). Pleasant.
Palate: Apple, Honey, Mango flavors on the attack. Creamy vanilla during the mid-palate adds complexity. The flavors tail off quickly.
Balance: Dry, crisp wine with firm enough tannins to give decent balance. A little too acidic.
Finish: Reasonablly long, but it leaves with non-descript oaky feeling. The fruit is gone during the finish.
50, 5, 10, 16, 7 = 88 (Excellent)
