Friday, March 3, 2023 - Excellent cab franc. None of the grilled bell pepper and green peppercorn notes common in pure cab francs from Napa. Fruit is elegant and taut and the finish lingers. It had enough energy to keep up with seared duck breast and fondant potatoes without overwhelming them. Delicious example of CF. Wish they were more common as they can be a super versatile medium weight red that shine with food.
