Sweet fruity nose, crushed leaf, violets, cinnamon, pencil shavings, 6.5
Fully developed generous cassis fruit nicely balanced with soft furry and spicy tannin. Full bodied. Dry. Moderate acidity. Sharp spirit burn comes out in mid palate and continues into the finish. Good structure. It would be a better wine with less alcohol (14%) and less ‘afterburn’. 8.2
