Friday, April 14, 2023 - First impressions from about a 1/3 of the bottle is that this is a fantastic bottle of wine. Lovely full flavour but with loads of acidity. Tannins are surprisingly smooth. I was expecting this to be more closed given the notes, but with no decant this was really singing. Red and black cherry fruit on nose and palate, nice complexity and a really long finish. Went great with some baked spiced chicken thighs. Really looking forward to the rest of this.
